Taking back our Faith

Growing up in Rural Georgia, I watched from the front pew as the far-right invaded our places of worship and turned them into propaganda machines spewing Christian Nationalist hatred and shepherding the faithful away from Christ's teachings.

Working as a Youth Pastor, I teach my kids about grace, community, and the infinite love of Christ.  I arm them with the knowledge and faith to stand up against bigotry and embrace those on the outskirts of our society the way that Jesus did.

It's high time people of good faith start fighting back against Christian Nationalism, and I'm excited to do my part.  I am infuriated to no end by the Bible-shaped scars I see burned into the minds of those who need and deserve love the most.  Jesus flipped tables: it's time we do, too.
